Nice country course . . . close enough to freeway (for easy access from North or South) but far enough away so as not to be bothered by noise.
The terrain is mostly flat (though a couple holes have nice elevation change-up). Small ponds flank #3 (midway down) and #10 (very early), but are generally easy enough to avoid. A very narrow stream crosses a few fairways, but should generally be easily avoided. There is a great assortment of sand traps, including a couple with near-vertical wood-beam revetment -- intimidating to face if your shot at the green goes awry!
Course layout may be a bit confusing to first-timers, as a few tees are nearly side-by-side. Three times (on 18-holes) you have to pass by one to get to the correct one. (Pay close attention to layout on scorecard and look at tee numbers and you shouldn't have any problem.)
Their website/Facebook page regularly lists specials which make this course a super deal.

Very mature course and it is in good condition and the layout is very nice with no homes nearby and no motor traffic. Challenging course with great ambiance.

Course has a great deal of league and outing pkay , so plan ahead for tee time. Excellent value, but I wish fairways and bunkers were in better shape. Excellent seasonal packages available.
